rinsing and de-scaling

a knife wielding ten year old

off with their heads.....and fins!

Cleaning out the guts (this is the point that I started gagging!)

Look mom, GUTS!

Saving the eggs for bait

many hands make light work

A sink full of fish

making filets

Ready for the freezer

    You go, Tricia! I could not do it. I love me some fish, but prefer it already de-scaled, de-gutted and nicely packaged in a styrofoam tray wrapped with saran wrap! So proud of how you are embracing your surroundings. Alaska is beautiful, I’ve loved seeing all your pictures!
